About Contracting Opportunities On-Line

Contracting Opportunities On-Line provides comprehensive project information for construction, architectural and engineering, goods, services, and concessions opportunities with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.  The information contained within the site is updated on a daily basis in order to provide the latest, most complete project information available.  The site is managed by the Authority's Procurement Technology Systems Specialist and Plans Coordinator, Mike Giardina.  If you have any questions regarding the site or need additional information about contracting opportunities with the Authority, Mike can be reached at giardinm@mwaa.com or by phone at 703-417-8672.  Additionally, feel free to complete the Contractor Satisfaction Survey to provide us with your feedback and suggestions so that the site can grow to better meet your needs.

Plans Room Hours and Location

Solicitation documents and contract proposals must be obtained from / submitted at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority's Plans Room, located in Suite 154 of the MWAA Corporate Office Building at National Airport.  The Plans Room's hours of operation are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Instructions for Obtaining Solicitation Documents

Firms outside a 50-mile radius of National Airport may obtain documents:
in person at the above location
by downloading them on-line (Selected projects only)
by ordering them on-line (Projects with no charge only) - CLICK HERE
by faxing a request to Mr. Mike Giardina at 703-417-8993
by mailing a request to the following address:

Payment of Fees for Plans

As noted on the project information pages, some solicitations require payment of a fee in order to obtain the documents.  Additionally, please note that for projects that list "None" under fee, there is no charge for the first copy of the project, but a $25.00 fee may be required for extra copies.  All fees are non-refundable and must be paid by either check or money order made payable to MWAA.  Documents will only be shipped once payment has been received.
