0867 UPDATE 

The imposition of 0867 by Telecom will be to the detriment of the
Internet in NZ and this will affect YOU. 

Our compensation offer to Residential local Internet call charges
has been designed to meet the needs of the widest possible range
of Internet users to preserve their choice of access to the
Internet. CLEAR will be rebating 2 cents per minute (after 10
hours) of Internet usage to offset Telecom's charges.

The response from you has been overwhelmingly positive and we
are heartened by the groundswell of support for our position.
There have been questions raised so we have put together a web
site to help answer your questions. 

Main Points of note:
These new charges DO NOT affect Business Customers. 

You DO NOT need to change any settings on your computer.

If you are a loyal residential high Flat Rate user watch this
space as we will be offering specially designed programmes 
for you.

The rebate will automatically appear on your CLEAR invoice. 

Unfortunately we are not in a position to offer a cash rebate.
