She wanted to inform me that Jesse was associating with criminals that are being investigated by the FBI and that I should be concerned. When my husband and myself questioned her for specific information about why she felt Jesse was acting in a delinquent fashion she refused to finish the conversation and hung up on my husband. I am publically asking Carolyn to furnish Jesse with a server address so jesse can transfer the happy-hacker.ml.org domain, and the Happy Hacker mailing list (all 5,400 addresses) to her. She has made insulting statements about Jesse and this mailing list in the e-mails that I have read and I don't appreciate our conversation this evening. All she did was make generalizations and never would specifically state anything. Jesse may be a minor - but he is a very talented individual who believes strongly in free speech and access to information, especially about computers. I do not believe he would ever sponsor an illegal or immoral message on this chat list and appreciate reading all of the encouraging e-mail you have sent to him. If you are aware of anything that his father and I should be made aware of please feel free to contact me at connie@ptw.com. I am not a computer nerd and might not understand alot of what you are talking about but I do know my son and want Carolyn to get her mailing list and problems out of our life. Jesse has asked for this information before - provide it and go on with your life Carolyn. Also pay your past due bill - Jesse has spent a great deal of money upgrading his system and worked alot of hours maintaining these lists and I don't like you thinking you can not pay him without there being consequences.
