a friends PC...moved out of state, several mos ago...and AOL
F.U.B.A.R'd my PC...so it was sold last Nov...I don't pay for service 
I have not ever rec'd...ok, that billing address was XXXX Cottonwood

To cancel service and stop the billing, you must log on to the AOL service
from the same machine you originally signed on from. This is due to the
tracking software we installed on your machine as a security mechanism to
help protect you from identity theft and fraud.

We'd suggest you find the person who bought your computer and purchase it
back.

this is not possible...the machine was torn down to rebuild other
machines...I am in Alaska...it is in California...I haven't had contact
w/the person since early Nov 2003, so now what to do? I relocated for a job,
but am not going to pay for something I never received...I called and
cancelled in November, and sent a certified letter...It not only was
cancelled prior to 45 days, but within 4 days....what other recourse do I
have?  I will put my atty on this if need be...hope I don't have to.
