Art Deco Society Ball

The Art Deco Society of Washington, DC (ASDW) is delighted and honored to celebrate the unique restoration work performed by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority of Historic Terminal A at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The Main Waiting Room of Historic Terminal A is the site of the ADSW 2000 Preservation Ball on Saturday, November 4, 2000 at 9:00pm.

The ADSW fully supports and encourages the adaptive use of restoration performed by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority in preserving the important Art Deco landmark Historic Terminal A at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. This is an example to be followed internationally. The Art Deco Society of Washington DC is a non-profit organization incorporated to foster awareness and appreciation of the Art Deco period (1925-1950) through volunteers' actions to preserve for the public the decorative, industrial, and cultural arts and architecture of that era. Visit the ADSW website at www.adsw.org for more information.
