The Art Deco Society of Washington, DC (ASDW) is delighted
and honored to celebrate the unique restoration work performed
by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority of Historic
Terminal A at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The
Main Waiting Room of Historic Terminal A is the site of the
ADSW 2000 Preservation Ball on Saturday, November 4, 2000 at
9:00pm.
The ADSW fully supports and encourages the adaptive use of
restoration performed by the Metropolitan Washington Airports
Authority in preserving the important Art Deco landmark
Historic Terminal A at Ronald Reagan Washington National
Airport. This is an example to be followed internationally.
The Art Deco Society of Washington DC is a non-profit
organization incorporated to foster awareness and appreciation
of the Art Deco period (1925-1950) through volunteers' actions
to preserve for the public the decorative, industrial, and
