Air
Canada Begins New Dulles Service to Vancouver
With 171 weekly
flights to five cities in Canada, the Washington region is
more connected to Canada than ever before. Summer travelers
can chose from 92 weekly flights from Ronald Reagan Washington
National and 79 weekly flights from Washington Dulles
International Airport.
On June 5, Air
Canada began new daily service to Vancouver and added a second
weekly flight to Halifax and a third weekly to Montreal from
Dulles. Combined, Air Canada and U.S. Airways serve Montreal,
Ottawa and Toronto out of National, and Air Canada serves
Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and now Vancouver from
Dulles International Airport.
"Canada has
been a very important North American market for us, and we’re
pleased to expand service even further," said James A.
Wilding, President/CEO of the Airports Authority.
"Service to Vancouver now provides this region’s
passengers and shippers with a key western Canadian
connection."
