On September 21st of 2000, a hacker known only as c0mrade was
sentenced to 6 month's in juvenile delinquency for supposedly causing
a "21-day shutdown of NASA computers that supported an international
space station, and invaded a Pentagon weapons computer system to
intercept 3,300 emails, steal passwords and cruise around like an
employee."

First, lets get the real facts straight, the 21 day shutdown of NASA
computers was caused by them, they were scared and wanted to find who
was in their systems, so they shut everything down hoping the hacker
would not return, then get security professionals to look at their
computer's and find him. Unsuccessful after 21 days, they turned them
