O s ] : : Rapes & Molestations in (Held) Kashmir Part 1 | Part 2 The following is the second part of the ongoing series of defacements, labelled "Rapes & Molestations in (Held) Kashmir". The following is another incident that occured on the 27th of April, 2000.
Name and address of the Victim(s): The family members of Peer Mubarak Shah of Mower Handwara. Date of Victimisation: April 27,2000. REPORT: At 0004 hours of April 27, four soldiers of 30 Ashtray Rifles of the Indian Army came to the house of the victim. Three of them remained outside while the fourth on Lance Nail B.K.Bardan forced his entry into the house. He asked the victim to segregate the males and females in different rooms.The soldier then tried to assault the daughters of the victim. The family members raised alarm and the responding to their cries for help the villagers reached the spot. Sensing trouble the three soldiers waiting outside made easy their escape whereas the miscreant soldier was overpowered by the villagers. The police was summoned and the soldier arrested. An F.I.R under No 511 /336 R/C was registered.
