THE CRIME
On November 5, 1999, Craig Allen Walker and a female accomplice allegedly participated in a scheme to defraud a local Memphis, Tennessee, area bank which resulted in a large financial loss to the bank. During a real estate transaction, the female accomplice impersonated Walker's ex-wife in order to enable Walker to close on the sale of his jointly owned residence. Upon receiving the money from the bank, Walker abducted his two sons, Landon and Logan, whose legal guardian is their mother. Walker's car was found abandoned at the Little Rock, Arkansas, airport on November 7, 1999. His female accomplice has since been arrested.
