"Where the Pavement ends the adventure begins"

Mike Laney's
1993 Explorer

I am currently stationed in ND as per military and there is not alot of
places to wheel in the frozen tundra but, here is my 1993 Explorer.

It is outfitted with a 4' trailmaster suspension lift 3' body lift, 33' BFG
mud terrains on 8' American racing AR767 series wheels. The Dick Cepek
series 88 shocks keep the ride smooth. The tranny is a stock 5 speed manual and the T-case is stock (but I'm looking for a manual BW 1354) I really don't like to trust a button during sticky situations.

The auto hubs were replaced with Warn manual hubs, the gears were also replaced with 4.10's front and rear along with ARB Air Lockers front and rear.

The exhaust is custom 3" duals without a muffler to give it that S-10 eating
roar. The front is protected by a Warn brushguard which will hold an
8,000 pound Warn winch in the future.

In the rear is a custom tire carrier for my 33' Super Swamper wrapped around another 8' American racing AR767 series (it used to ride on Swampers, but what am I going to do, throw away a never touched the pavement 33" Swamper). Although I can't take credit for the work I don't hold a grudge towards the guy that did the job.
