Courtesy of SJ, it appears that Gregory D. Evans' claims of being a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) are false. Currently, Evans has made this claim on his LinkedIn profile, Black Experts Profile, LIGATT Security About Page and Amazon Author Bio. According to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), their online directory does not list a "Gregory D. Evans" (or reasonable variants). The closest match is a Mr. Gregg H. Evans in Syracuse, NY, working for a different company. In case their database is incomplete, mail was sent to the ACFE to further verify he does not hold this certification. A representative of the ACFE replied to SJ, asked him to call for verification. On the phone call, the representative positively confirmed that Gregory D. Evans does not hold a CFE certification, but would rather not have their name published.
